My photographic journey began when I was 13 years old and my father gave me his old Exacta SLR. After a summer school program and high school Saturday morning classes I was hooked and soon had set up my own black and white darkroom in my father's wine cellar.
The anticipation and excitement as an image came to life in the developing tray was magical. It is the only part of the wet darkroom that I miss as technology has replaced this with digital photography’s instant feedback and incredible processing flexibility.
I enjoy photographing a wide range of subject matter. I have been privileged to have visited and photographed many places around the world. I am continually on the lookout for travel opportunities to meet new people and experience new places and cultures. I live in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
