My photographic journey began when I was 13 years old and my father gave me his old Exacta SLR. After a summer school program and high school Saturday morning classes I was hooked and soon had set up my own black and white darkroom in my father's wine cellar.
The anticipation and excitement as an image came to life in the developing tray was magical. It is the only part of the wet darkroom that I miss as technology has replaced this with it's own magic of instant feedback and incredible processing flexibility.
I enjoy photographing a wide range of subject matter with a focus on landscape and wildlife themes. I am continually on the lookout for travel opportunities and have photographed many places around the globe.
I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada with my wife (Suzanne), and three children.
