This young Magellanic Penguin was sitting out in the middle of a wide, flat sandy beach. It was looking out to sea, waiting for it's parents to return with some food, There was a strong wind blowing the very fine sand. Being down flat on the ground to get the angle I wanted, it was inevitable that sand would get into my equipment and require hours of cleaning that night.
